Naglabas na ng Beta version ang Apple Inc. ng kanilang web browser na “Safari” 4.0. Ang bagong web browser na ito ay pinapagana ng isang bagong “Nitro” engine. Ang sa Firefox kasi ay “Gecko” ang tawag naman sa engine nito habang sa IE naman ay “Trident” at sa Google Chrome naman ay “Webkit”. Kung baga ito ang makina nga ng isang browser para gumana siya.
Ang bagong “Nitro" engine na ito ay 4.2x na mas mabilis magpaktbo ng JavaScript kesa sa dati nitong Safari 3.
Itong bagong bersyiong ito ay may mga bagong features tulad ng “Top Sites” (Pinapakita sayo yung mga pinakamadalas mong bisitahin); “Full History Search”;”Cover Flow”, kung saan makikita mo dito ang Web History at bookmarks; at “Tabs on Top”.

Na-try ko na yang Safari, dati-rati pa, lahat ng browser ti-try ko, eto ang resulta na fave ko (from top to bottom):
1) Flock Browser (interactive yung bookmarks niya)
2) Mozilla Firefox v3 (simple lang)
3) Opera Browser (yung download manager niya, kewl)
4) IE 7 (daming settings)
5) Google Chrome (bata pa ‘to)
6) (sadly) Safari browser (bagal nyan kaya)
